Children’s Etiquette Classes

Information:

Ages: 4 years and upwards

Dates & Time: Etiquette classes are conducted on weeknight evening from 5 to 7 PM. Saturday morning luncheons are available. *Weekday luncheons are available by request during the summer months and any day that there is no school in session.

Location: A local club, restaurant, or mutually agreeable location.

Princess Tea Party (ages 4-8):

Every young lady needs to learn the basics associated with having proper manners in the world. What better way to learn than with a tea party? Tea is a social beverage and, as any social situation, it calls for manners. Its charm lies in the little niceties that are associated with the eating and the drinking of the tea service as well as the socializing and conversation.

1 hour Price based off menu (tea party refreshments included) held at a local country club.

Friendship (ages 7-11):

How do we pick our friends? What does it mean to be a good friend? This workshop focuses on girls and their relationships. It’s very important to have good friends and to be a good friend to others! What do you do when a friendship hurts? In this workshop, your child will learn about the importance of choosing friends wisely and well as tips for solving friendship problems. Every kid has what it takes to be a great friend and to choose friends who are right for them. True friendships are a two-way street!

Back to School Workshop (ages 7-12):

Get your kids ready for the new school year with this Back to School skills prep class that will teach them how to start the new year off right. They will learn time management skills to stay organized, study tips, lunchroom protocol, good sportsmanship and more.

Teen Etiquette Classes

Information:

Ages: 13 years and upwards

Description: During these workshop, teens learn essential life skills needed to succeed in school, college and throughout their careers. Many people believe that these skills are what is missing in our schools today. During the etiquette classes, students will participate in interactive, engaging lessons and activities, including making a good first impression, body language, how to have a conversation without words such as “um”, “like” and “you know”, showing appreciation, cellular device dos and don’ts, dining skills and more.

Netiquette:

  • Knowing when it’s the right place and time to be on your cell phone

  • Knowing when it’s time to shut off technology around friends & family

  • What to post and not to post on the internet & how it could affect your”real” image

  • Timely follow up with texts, emails & parents

  • The importance of writing handwritten thank you notes versus an emailed thank you note

  • Cell phone etiquette in public

Dining 101 For Littles (ages 4-7):

This 1 hour workshop is a great way to give your children the skills they need to succeed in the world today! Through interactive games and role-playing, kids learn amongst their peers the importance of good behavior, confident body language, proper handshake, and much more. This event also includes a light lunch, where they will put their table manners into motion. Kids will have fun while playing games that will reinforce their manners at home.

$100 includes etiquette instruction and multi-course meal.

Dining 101 For Bigs (ages 7-14):

This one of a kind workshop offers boys and girls an opportunity to learn about proper social skills in any dining situation. How do you tip? How should you split the bill when dining with others? During this class they will learn the importance of proper dining, dinner conversation and other simple courtesies that will help them become more confident at any table. In addition, the kids will be instructed on how to place their own orders and will be guided on proper setting and use of their utensils.

$100 includes etiquette instruction and multi-course meal.
